California Proposition 65
In 2016, the State of California amended its Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, known as "Proposition 65" or "Prop 65." This amendment modifies regulations related to product warning labels. Prop 65 requires that businesses operating in California, as well as businesses marketing products that could find their way into California, provide "clear and reasonable" notification to Californians about the presence of certain chemicals in the products they purchase.
Techflex's response to proposition 65
Techflex is making the necessary changes on our product labels to comply with these new labeling requirements as well as chemical analysis tests to determine which if any of the listed chemicals may exist in any of our product lines.
